Museum and Brunch

April 23, 2012

This weekend was seriously fabulous.  I had a little impromptu get together with friends Friday evening.  I visited the Museum of Fine Arts which is situated right here on my own street!  I dined at Top of the Hub while listening to their jazz band.  I brunched at The Friendly Toast (finally!).  I caught up on work and I still found time to relax.  It was incredible.

Kati and I had a pretty classy meal here on the 52nd floor of the Prudential Center.  Calamari, Risotto Croquettes, and a bottle of white wine.  It was nice catching up and sharing a bunch of laughs over a delectable dinner.

Enter, Kristin!  My little photographer for the day and fabulous friend.

Seriously Bostonians, you must eat here.  After a recommendation from Hannah, I knew it was about time I made my way over to Kendall Square for brunch.  It.  was.  amazing.  I had the Caribbean Waffle which was cooked with pecans and caramelized bananas on top.  Yum, I know.

I went with these two lovely ladies, Kristin (from above) and Amanda!  Good friends.  Good food.  A lovely morning.

Though we did have to wait an hour, the brunch was totally worth it.  I will definitely be rounding up my family and taking them out to Kendall for breakfast next time they visit!
