Birthday weekend was, for the most part, a success. Despite a few mishaps and a few disagreements, I enjoyed spending the weekend with some of my best friends.
A short really long recap:
/ My best friend took off a whole weekend of work to come see me
/ When I arrived home from work, she had decorated my entire bedroom with confetti filled balloons, pendant flag streamers, and even a box of Georgetown Cupcake (which are amazing, by the way)
/ I sincerely have to thank her - S., even though we live hours apart and don't see each other that often, you are still my favorite
/ Spent an evening at Drink, and followed up the classy start to the night with some typical Boston bars
/ Made some new friends
/ Enjoyed an afternoon walking around campus, pretending I'm not graduating in May
/ Risked walking in a rainstorm for sushi and bubble tea
/ Enjoyed birthday dinner and desserts at Max Brenner
/ After driving around town in cabs, ended up right back at Pour House on Boylston (obviously still a fun time)
/ Stayed up talking for hours
/ Woken up by the boys at 9am for quality movie time in the living room
/ Spent a quiet Sunday evening in K.'s new apartment, with a bottle of white wine and Sex and the City (I really do need to get into that show sometime soon)
/ Had a breakfast birthday gelato date with J. Banana and melon, can you say delicious?
/ A small lunch on Centennial Commons with one of my Boston favorites
/ Dinner and drinks at The Brahmin, on my actual birthday
Sure, we spent all weekend celebrating. Why not, right?
How did you spend your weekend?
xo,
g.
