Hey guys, I know I'm the worst. I had to miss another Friday Goodie Bag post. But, to be honest, I was running around like a crazy person trying to make it through Homecoming week. The good news: we made it! Homecoming is over! After all that madness and craziness, I actually think I miss it. Though rushing to meetings could be stressful, I had so much fun with the committee. Getting to spend an entire week with them was pretty awesome. I'm glad we've grown so close over these past few months, and I know we'll definitely keep in touch.
Now for the Homecoming recap. Every event went really well and students enjoyed the whole week! Midnight Madness was a blast and such an awesome new tradition. The basketball teams were such great sports, I'm so glad they were interested in participating! And even though Nick Swardson was unable to make the comedy event due to some unfortunate food poisoning, Sarah Silverman was hilarious, and the team managed to find two new opening acts! It really worked out.
OH! Did I forget to mention that we beat B.C. 3-1 this weekend? Oh boy, have I missed hockey.
