Weekend Tidbits

October 29, 2012

What can I say, Halloweekend was the best.  Don't you worry, there are many Halloween photographs on their way...many.  Besides gathering up some of my best friends and going out all decked out in our Halloween gear, I bought some awesome items this weekend.  I ventured out on Saturday for a walk and came back with that gorgeous pair of bright blue BCBG heels in tow.  I also came right home to my new Everlane weekender bag and new white tee which was exciting.

Aside from my shopping, I stopped by the book fair at Copley and baked up a storm in our kitchen.  I promise - more photos are coming your way this week!

Now we're just riding out the storm in our cozy apartment and continuing to bake.  Tonight we'll be whipping up chocolate chunk toffee cookies.  Yes.  I did just say that.  Aside from a few trees down on the T tracks, Boston hasn't been hit too hard yet.  To be honest, I can't complain.  I was able to stay inside all day and work from home.  And yes, I was definitely in yoga pants all day.  It was incredible.

What are your Hurricane Sandy essentials for this evening?  I have my books lined up, my computer charged, and cookies on their way to the oven right now!

  3. aaaaah....you got the milk toof book? I've been wanting to get that since ages. It's just so sweet!

I'm so grateful to live in a country where storms are a very rare thing and hurricanes don't exist. I would die a thousand deaths having to live through a storm like that.

Can't wait to see the halloween pictures :-D I'm a sucker for those
