one / Nothing sounds more up my alley than a ginger rosemary zinger.  As soon as I move into my new space next week and get the bar packed, I will surely be testing out this recipe.

two / Jamie shared this delectable round-up of treats and I'm thinking ingredients for these are all making their way onto my grocery list next week.

three / Trina is starting an exciting new series over on Of Trees & Hues titled Photography 101.  For those of you just getting into the game, it might be a great place to start!  This week is all about exposure.

four / This stroll through Georgetown is making me want to pack up and head down to DC.  I'm hoping I'll end up there in the next few years, so perhaps another trip will have to hold me over for now.

five / Really loving this review of the Ace Hotel in Seattle - yet another city I'd love to explore.

six / I've been on a real vanilla chai latte kick.  Head over to Danielle's journal to check out a simple recipe.  I'm warning you, it's addictive.

What finds did you make this week?

reading / Have you heard of Floret Farms?  Essentially it's a beautiful flower farm and design studio that also has a blog.  Score!

craving / Really though, how good does this spring pasta look?  If I hadn't just gone grocery shopping, this would definitely have been my lunch today.

listening / Once I added Ivan & Alyosha to my playlist, I haven't exactly stopped listening to them.  Check 'em out, they're pretty great.

doing / K + B is totally due for a little redesign.  So, I'm making it my project this spring/summer to get back into teaching myself HTML & CSS.  It's about time I head back over to WordPress and pretty up this blog.  For those of you in a similar boat, this book works wonders (hint hint, if you have any awesome tips as I prepare to move K + B, please let me know!).

wanting / A trip back to Brasil!  The planning there is so lax (sigh), but T. and I are planning on heading back there mid-May!  I.  Can't.  Wait.

What's on your list this week?

one // All about this floralove.  Also, how amazing is Katrina for sharing all of this with us?  If you haven't checked out Pugly Pixel yet, I highly recommend it.

two // I spotted this article somewhere (probably on Buzzfeed, let's be real) and couldn't get over how adorable this duo is!  So glad Lauren decided to share it with the blogger world.

three // This converted railway depot is perfection.  How fun are those chairs?!

four // This a photo an hour collaboration is really intriguing.  I think I would almost like to try this myself, but I'm thinking it would be a lot of....my desk at work.  Not the most interesting I presume.

five // Jenny does a phenomenal job layering her rings in this post; such great tips!

six // These pinstripe pants and neon yellow heels?  I'm all about it.

Warby Parker Introduces...

April 7, 2014

one: aslin | two: piper | three: piper | four: minnie | five: aslin | six: hall | seven: downing

I am so ecstatic to help my friends over at Warby Parker announce their newest collaboration and a few new collections today!

In honor of Warby Parker's collaboration with Architecture for Humanity (an organization that "creates solutions to humanitarian challenges through the power of design"), I picked out a few of my favorite new eyeglasses and sunglasses from the Spring Collection, Spectrum Sun Collection, and AFH collaboration.  Check them out up there!

With four pairs of eyeglasses from Warby Parker (I know, I'm seriously lacking on the sunglasses front; I will eventually snag a pair of those coveted sunnies), I would have to say I'm pretty much in love with the organization's products, "do good" mentality, and customer experience.  Seriously guys, their customer experience team is impeccable.  Actually, the team recently sent over a handwritten note along with a copy of On The Road just to thank me for my support over the years.  Amazing, right?

Luckily for us, the new frames that Warby Parker is launching as a salute to its partnership with Architecture for Humanity and the organization's (AFH) 15th anniversary, are equally as amazing.  At $145 a pair, a portion of the proceeds from each sale will go directly to Architecture for Humanity and (as always) with each pair sold, a pair will be distributed to someone in need.

Curious about the collaboration?  Check this out:
